Healing
Movement?


Definition:
Heal
: To make healthy, whole, or sound.
Move: To change from one place or position to another; to set or keep in motion.
Healing Movement: Facilitating the act of making oneself healthy, whole, and sound, through motion/change of position on the physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual levels.

Do for Me?

Often times we find ourselves stuck in a place of discomfort-- desiring change, but not sure how to proceed.

Speaking about our current issue or situation to someone with good
listening skills, can support us in expressing our situation, thoughts,
and feelings, but may lack in motivation or resolution.

Moving our bodies through physical exercise, such as Yoga, Pilates,
Tai Chi, or Chi Gong or receiving Reiki may help us to feel more alive, relaxed, and centered in the present moment. However, that feeling may not last as long as we would like. Also, emotions, feelings, thoughts, or fears may come up in a way that we may not understand or know how to respond to.

Healing Movement™ sessions combine counseling and body movement for a more fully integrated healing experience. In these sessions, thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences are not separate, but rather connected. We
Talk about what is most current, we Experience the emotions that we had been holding back, and we Move to a deeper state of clarity, understanding, and compassion for ourselves and others.

Healing Movement holds that working with someone who is highly skilled in the connection of body, mind, and emotions is vital to experiencing and exploring the fullest truth of what is coming forward for us.

Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Do you desire something different in your life?
  2. Are you aware of any thoughts, beliefs, or habits that do not fit, but you don't know how to change them?
  3. Is there a little voice inside urging you to make a change, but you're afraid to?
  4. Are you experiencing discomfort in your body from stress, fear, or anxiety?
  5. Do you feel tired, lethargic, and/or depressed, but have a strong desire to feel alive?
